Bowman Campground

The campground is very remote and has limited services. There are seven campsites with tables, fire rings and bear proof food lockers. There is a large lake with a lot of rocks and trees that is great for fishing and swimming. There are islands in the lake. It was a car top boat launch. The road is very rough and narrow. It is very difficult and dangerous to tow boats or trailers. It is impossible for two vehicles to pass each other on several stretches of the road, so if traffic is coming from both directions someone will need to back up. It is a popular area despite the difficult access.
