About
The Bow River Ranger Station was built in the 1960s for the forest Ranger who worked on the northern part of the Snowy Range. The Upper Medicine Bow River is a great place to fish and view wildlife. The house is all electric with a full bath, a 1/2 bath, a large kitchen, two bedrooms with bunk beds, a vault toilet, and a fire ring. The facility is accessible. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility. The house is on the national forest boundary. Medicine Bow River, Turpin Reservoir, Sand Lake and Bow River Campground are all nearby. The ADA access is N.
