The maximum stay is 3 consecutive nights with a sleep duration of 8 hours. The cabins are unfurnished. It is possible to access the beach by foot or boat. The foot trail begins at the parking area of the state park. The trail goes 3.4 miles to the cabin. The same trail is open in the winter. Visitors can ski or snowshoe, but no ATV's or other motorized vehicles are allowed. The primary heat at the cabin is a wood stove. It is recommended that the user bring a minimum of 1 gallon of kerosene per day to heat the cabin. The stove's fuel storage tank is on the rear of the cabin. Water supply is in the winter and summer.
