About
There are over three hundred thousand acres of National Forest land in the Blanco District. The Flat Tops Wilderness spans approximately 236,406 acres and is managed by Blanco. The district elevation is between 6,500 and 12,000. The Blanco Ranger District has nine improved campgrounds, picnic facilities, and an abundance of well marked trailheads for access to wilderness.
