Welcome to Blackiron Resort located in Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwoods – just 10 miles from downtown Hayward. The Hayward Lakes area is blessed with an abundance of sparkling, spring-fed lakes and flowages. Hundreds of miles of hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails, towering timberland, bursts of vibrant colors and striking natural beauty are the backdrop for four seasons of outdoor fun. Situated on the pristine shores of Upper Twin Lake, Blackiron Resort, offers over 10 acres and over 1,000 feet of shoreline to explore and enjoy. Boating and fishing are popular activities on the lake, with excellent Muskie, Bass, Walleye and Pan Fish. Blackiron Resort is the only resort on the lake; which gives us the luxury of a very private lake. Blackiron Resort’s 40 large campsites are nestled among the trees, well spaced and offer gorgeous lake views, providing a secluded oasis for both tent and RV campers. There is a public boat launch with premium gas on site and 10 private boat docks, making it easy for our guests to enjoy everything this wonderful lake and area trails have to offer. On-site facilities include a full service bar and restaurant (Blackiron Bar and Grill), shower house, boat landing, gas pump, and a laundry facility. Complimentary WiFi access is available at the restaurant. Each campsite features water, electric, and septic availability. We offer nightly, weekly and seasonal sites, with hard to find seasonal sites available.
