About
The Oak Woodlands have a campground called Black Rock. There are 6 primitive dispersed camping sites. At each of the 6 sites, there are grills and tables. The Black Rock Campground is open all year. The Ishi Wilderness has a campground on the Northeast corner. Hiking along Mill Creek is wonderful and fishing in Deer and Mill Creeks can be rewarding. It's possible to get to Black Rock Campground via Highway 36. It's not a good idea for RV's to travel on Ponderosa Way, which leads to the Ishi Wilderness.
