The park is located on the south shore of the 4,000-acre Pomona Reservoir and is 1 mile north of K-368. Located in a transition zone from prairie to eastern woodlands, the park is well known for its shady campsites and great family atmosphere. The park is located in an area with historical connections to the Santa Fe Trail, as well as easy access to several metropolitan areas. Visitors can expect good fishing.
