Bear Lake

Located on the scenic, wooded shores of Bear Lake, and just 12 miles west of New London, Bear Lake Campground & Resort is your one-stop-shop for a little lakeside relaxation and recreation. The campground at Bear Lake offers more than 150 campsites for pitching your tent or parking your RV/trailer. Most sites are back-in, with a few pull-throughs, and can accommodate vehicles/trailers up to 30 feet. Sites are equipped with electrical hookups, water, picnic tables and cooking grills. Some sites are located right along the lakeshore, with nice views. Campground amenities include flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Campsite rates are $31–, with seasonal and extended stay discounts. To enjoy some downtime at Bear Lake, hang your hammock and enjoy a nap or a good book under the shady pine trees, or lounge at the beach by the lakeside. When you’re ready to play, head for any of the sports fields, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, or putt-putt golf course and get your game on. If you want to cool off, go for a dip in the lake, or rent a kayak or aquacycle for some paddling fun. On summer weekends, enjoy live music performances, and meet fellow campers at the tiki hut beach party.
