Overview
Overlooking Cape Cod Bay, there is no better place on Cape Cod to watch a sunset. While located only a few miles from Wellfleet town center, when sitting on the deck enjoying the company of friends and family, you will feel miles away from the stress of everyday life. The Bay View House is a three bedroom, one bathroom home that sleeps seven. This spacious, well equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore memorable.

* **Refundable Security Deposit: $250 (per reservation)**
* **There is a mandatory 5 night miniumim stay for reservations during the non peak and peak season. Reservations for less than the required minimum stay may be cancelled at the discretion of the park without prior notice.**
Recreation
The Bay View House offers the visitor nearby access to Cape Cod Bay's quiet beaches and tidal flats. Explore beyond the beach and you will find the seashore is so much more. Wellfleet's historic village is just a short drive away, with book stores, galleries and restaraunts waiting for you. There are miles of walking and biking trails through pine forests, across sandy dunes and alongside fresh water ponds. You can climb to the top of one of the many light houses and experience a piece of maritime history that helped our new nation grow and thrive. For the wildlife lover there are opportunities to spot over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals that make the seashore their home.
Facilities
* Beds include: one queen, one twin and two fulls.
* Pillows, blankets, and fans are included. Bed sheets and towels are not provided.
* Washer and dryer.
* Kitchen is fully equipped including: microwave, oven, range, coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, pots/ pans, eating utensils and plates.
* Large deck, with propane and propane BBQ grill and patio furnishings, overlooking Cape Cod Bay.
* Flat screen TV with Blu-ray player.
* Pets are not allowed.

The great Outer Beach described by Thoreau in the 1800's is protected within Cape Cod National Seashore. Forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds and uplands support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod’s past and continuing ways of life.
