About

This scenic, rustic campground sits on the beautiful Au Sable River surrounded by tall pines and hardwoods. The Au Sable River is known for trout fishing and paddle sports. There are 8 sites for tent and small trailer use. There are an additional 5 paddle-in/walk-in group sites near the river. The group camping rate of /night is applied at these sites. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 7 miles east of Grayling via North Down River Road and Headquarters Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
