The 1100-acre Alcona Park is located above the Alcona Dam and is home to three miles of shoreline. The park is close to the national forest and is a great place to go for vacations. The river has a lot of fishing. canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing are popular activities for visitors. There are over 450 campsites available. There are camping cabins available for rent.
