About
There is a place to fish, canoe, and kayak in the South Edisto River. The Edisto River has a scenic 1.7-mile canoe and kayak trail that attracts paddlers from across the region. The history of the park is as notable as its beauty. The park was built by two Civilian Conservation Corps companies, one of which was an African-American. Their work can still be seen in some of the structures that are left.
