0D1 - Fairy Meadows - Yellowstone NP Back Country Campsite

The park maintains 293 designated campsites. The campsite has a maximum limit for the amount of people at a time. It depends on whether you are camping at 1 to 3 nights per trip. Group size limits could be up to 12 people. In order to maximize the use of our campsites we only allow one group at each campsite. You need a second permit if you have a group that large. There are boxes at each campsite which make it easy to have food and attractants secured from bears. It will take you thirty-five feet to get your own rope at sites with food poles.
