Upper Bull Run Mountain [CLOSED]

The trail is closed due to the sensitive environment and presence of rare plant species. The Bull Run Mountains Natural Area Preserve has been set aside and permanently protected as a state preserve. Without these protections, the plant and animal life in Virginia would be in greater danger. The Virginia outdoors foundation is trying to protect and preserve the amazing biodiversity of Bull Run Mountains Natural Area Preserve.
