About This Trail
The Spruce Tree House is still closed due to falling rocks. You should consult the park's website before visiting the Spruce Tree House. The best preserved cliff dwelling within Mesa Verde National Park is called the Spruce Tree House. The trail begins at the Archeological Museum and goes down a path. You ascend back up the same path on the return trip.
