About This Trail
The loop leaves the parking lot and follows a gravel road to the end of Ridge Trail. The trail goes down a dirt road to the Acorn Trail. The Acorn Trail is not used very much and is damaged from the cattle walking in the mud. This is a beautiful hike even with some bad spots. The views are amazing. It is almost impossible to get shade, so make sure you wear sunscreen.
