About This Trail
This is an off- trail hike from the Children's Forest to the top of Slide Peak. The snow valley ski resort can only do Slide Peak in the off season, and anyone who wants to give it to them must give permission. It was a great hike for kids. You can see the peaks from 3 little lakes on your way to the peak. The National Children's Forest Trail leads to the 1st lake. The trail head is to the east of the lake path. Follow the trail past two smaller lakes to the ski lifts and then up the road to the peak.
