About This Trail
There are big old growth stumps in the park. A local logging legend carved a humongous wooden ball from a single log. The story says that the logger could walk from one end of the lake to the other. The area has a lot of logging lore. The park has year round access to day use and camping. The group camp is open for a few weeks in the summer. The area has great opportunities for paddling. The hours are 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
