About This Trail
This trail has been temporarily closed due to COVID-19. The park's website has up to date information. There is a fee for the canyon. You can get more information here. The trail spans both the Island Trail and Rim Trail. If you are not acclimatized, take caution. You can view cliff dwellings from former pueblo communities on the Island Trail. The portion of the route that is paved is not suitable for wheelchairs due to stairs. The route leads to the Rim Trail, which offers scenic views of the canyon. There are two overlooks that give a beautiful view of the canyon. The park closes at 5pm so you can explore both of the trails.
