About This Trail
There are several stream crossing on the trail, which is rocky and muddy in places. The second stream crossing can be difficult when the water is high, but it is easy other times of the year. The ponds are pretty and there are many plants growing in the boggy section. There are good places to relax by the water and even swim now that the shelter is gone. This is a good hike. You can change your mind at any time. There are some nice water spills. The dark aqua-green pond is surrounded by old growth timber and cliffs. Lower Greeley Pond is more typical of a pond for animals. The ponds are great for trout fishing and a picnic.
