About This Trail
The quiet and relaxed atmosphere of some natural areas of Florida is what Lake Manatee State Park is about. The 2,400-acre lake is used for drinking water for the two counties. The hiking trails traverse several different types of environments. There are a lot of wildlife, including Indigo snakes and cottontail rabbits.
