Flag Hill Loop Trail [CLOSED]

A short, steep hike up Flag Hill is a great way to introduce your kids to hiking. Sunol Regional Wilderness is one of the best hiking destinations in the East Bay hills. The Flag Hill loop is one of the best ways to see Sunol. The summit of Flag Hill is 1.3 miles above the Sunol headquarters. It's a tough climb, but it's over soon enough to suit young people. The view from the top is one of the best in the Bay Area. The hills are filled with California poppies and other flowers. It's all downhill from the view from Flag Hill to the park headquarters.
