About This Trail
Eagle View is one of the best trails at Sunol Wilderness. The Eagle's View Trail in Sunol Wilderness dives into a canyon and climbs up out of it to reveal stunning vistas of the park and the nearby East Bay hills. This is about as good as it gets in the Bay Area. The best time to visit is in the spring when the hills are green and the California poppies are in bloom. Really. It is warm during the summer, especially for this hike, which includes lots of climbing and descending.
