About This Trail
The hike includes great views of the Bay Area, Marin Headlands, the Golden Gate, and the San Mateo Coastline. The trails will head into the forest and then drop into the heart of the ravine. The trails become a series of stairs. It's underwater in some places during storms. It's all uphill back to the Ranger Station once in Steep Ravine. The trail criss-crosses the creek and climbs more steps in the quest to gain altitude. The reward is one of the best around.
