About This Trail
The trail is still accessible despite Deadman's Hollow being closed. Refer to the park page for more information. The Cape Disappointment Lighthouse was built to warn sailors of the river bar that was the graveyard of the Pacific. This is the oldest lighthouse on the West Coast.
