About This Trail
The most popular trail in the Edge of Appalachia Preserve system is the one that leads to Buzzardroost Rock, which is a giant limestone monument far above Ohio Brush Creek. The panoramic scene from this hilltop has been called the most spectacular view in Ohio. The hike of three miles is considered moderately difficult, with steep grades and steps. Preserve naturalists suggest hikers spend at least two to three hours on the trip, allowing time to see the natural features along the way and see the scenic view from the top of the rock.
