Blue Trail [CLOSED]

The trail is in the Paul Yost section. The section contains a network of loops and horse trails. The Blue Trail is in the valley of the parking area regardless of which direction you start. The profile was made by taking the loop in the south. The first mile is the most steep and allows for a mostly downhill hike after that. The trail is through hardwood forests. The woods have little undergrowth which gives great views. The trail is carved into the hillside to avoid the steepness of the surrounding area. The final climb gives great views to the north of downtown Louisville.
