About This Trail

The trails are not marked well according to users. A hiking trail is found on the Miller Peninsula near Diamond Point, which is on the Olympic Peninsula. The trail is only on old logging roads as it goes down to the beach. You should look for Western Rhododendrons along the trail in May. The forest is made of Douglas fir and western red cedar and has plants like salal and ocean spray. The beach is completely vacant with no view of Protection Island. It is hard to walk at high tide. There were pigeons, eagles, and oyster catchers at the beach.
