About

The beautiful longleaf pine forests that used to cover much of the state have been preserved thanks to ecological restoration. There are trails in the park that allow visitors to see the diverse wildlife, including the red-cockaded woodpecker. There are both freshwater and saltwater fish in the waters around the park. Canoes and kayaks are available for rent. The scenic point where the Ochlockonee and Dead rivers intersect has picnic facilities and a swimming area nearby.
