Lake Cuyamaca is a picture-book of good things in small packages. It's surrounded by wilderness at Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Lake Cuyamaca is a great place to go for a day or two. It's not very common to find the best views in San Diego County. Lake Cuyamaca is the only lake in San Diego that has trout all year long. There are other fish at the lake. Paso Picacho State Park Campround is the nearest dump-station.
