The trails are currently closed through May 1 2020. It is recommended that you consider donating to the Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve. The preserve doesn't get public funding. There are free trail maps and point of interest guides in the park gift shop, as well as some live animals native to the area. There are native animals located outside of the gift shop.
