About This Trail
The trails are closed between October 1 and March 1 to provide winter sanctuary for ducks. The trail leads through a wetlands habitat with swallows and shorebirds. In the spring and fall, there are many Sandhill Cranes. The trail is easy to walk on. The best time to birdwatching in this area is in the spring, early summer and fall.
