About This Trail
The fire road hike is through old and new growth timber. From the parking lot of the Starker Forest Tour, head west on Lasky Creek Road, which drops down about 200 feet in elevation in the first 1.25 miles, and then you'll start a 1.5 mile uphill climb. You can go left at the juction up the log road if you want to get to the top of Lasky Creek Road. Take a rest and then start your hike again.
